Sustaining growth…

How do you make sense of a website that just keeps growing?

Websites grow, just like companies. Often this process is organic and unplanned, as the Financial Services Authority (FSA) found out.

Pages were being bolted onto its website to accommodate spiralling visitor numbers, leaving users frustrated and unable to find the information needed.

Streamlining and condensing information reduced the number of pages on the site from 10,000 to 3,000. Users’ needs were put first, while a new look and feel gives the site greater visual impact.

The re-launched site won rave reviews from FSA stakeholders, the public and opinion formers – Mortgage Solutions magazine rated the site 9/10 for usability.
