Redhouse Lane scored an impressive double at the first annual Institute of Internal Communicators Awards (IoIC) after two entries were named as class winners.

Assets, the magazine for The Institute of Asset Management, was named as best publication for members, while best microsite/website went to the Care Quality Commission's Guidance about Compliance microsite.

The two category winners completed an impressive showing for Redhouse Lane at the prestigious ceremony at London's Hilton Park Lane hotel. The agency was honoured with nine Awards of Excellence in total.

"We are thrilled with this award," says Harriet McGann, Redhouse Lane's Co-head of Editorial. "Official recognition from the IoIC for this, our first membership magazine, and the response from members themselves shows that we've taken Assets in the right direction."

The Care Quality Commission website was also hailed at the event, presented by Alastair Campbell, former Director of Communications for the Government.

"The CQC website shows what a massive impact a microsite can have," says Eddie Finch-Hawkes, Digital Strategist. “It has helped health professionals across the country. We're very pleased we can mark its success with this award."

The IoIc is the new name for Communicators in Business (CiB). It is the UK's leading professional body for in-house, freelance and agency staff involved in internal communications.
