Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in welcoming the latest addition to our London studio: Jorge Valle.

The talented Spaniard impressed us at interview with his smooth finish on a wide range branding, graphic design and editorial work. I’d recommend checking out his portfolio yourself.

You’ll see design isn’t Jorge’s only passion: he studied photography at the esteemed EFTI in Madrid, and tells me his preferred subjects are portraits, landscape and cityscapes.

He also claims he’d choose his analogue camera over a digital model any day of the week. When I asked him why, he said this:

“When taking a shot with film, you need to wait for the right moment. When I work with a digital camera I take so many pictures of the same thing, but with film you can't do it because it's a lot more expensive and you can't see the result on a screen.

“When I take the picture, I have to be 100 per cent sure that it is taken at the right moment. It's more about patience to take my time to measure the light and to focus. The results when printed are amazing, much better than digital!”
