Respect

We aim to keep our environmental impact as low as possible, and welcome any suggestions for how we can improve. We keep track of our carbon footprint and actively work to reduce it.

A robust environmental management system is being put in place and we’re on track to achieve the ISO 14001 accreditation in 2010.

Working in partnership with our local authority and other businesses in the area we are an active member of the Camden Climate Change Alliance.

Reduce, reuse, recycle

We have removed individual wastepaper baskets from below desks to encourage people to think more closely about what they throw away. Mixed recycling bins are in every office.

Reusable cups are supplied for water, and we also recycle:

  • IT equipment – goes to charities that support the developing world
  • toner cartridges – are returned to suppliers to be recycled

Supply chain

We check our suppliers’ green and CR credentials and follow an environmental purchasing policy where possible.

Examples include:

  • our couriers are carbon negative and our booking system automatically defaults to the greenest option available
  • all staff tea and coffee is bought from fair trade suppliers
  • our drinking water benefits children in developing countries through donations to clean water projects.
