Redhouse Lane scoops 13 awards of excellence in the CiB 2007 competition
Redhouse Lane has scooped 13 awards of excellence in the CiB 2007 competition for Britain’s best corporate communications – more than any other agency.
With wins in ezine, annual report, multi-lingual, intranet, illustration, design and writing categories, as well as the blue riband magazine and newspaper classes, the awards highlighted the breadth of talent at work.
Several publications received 'best in class' nominations, highlighting how effective internal communications can really help to build brands and revitalize company culture.
Of Vodafone’s Heat-style magazine for frontline staff, last year’s Gold Award winner, judges said: "Redhouse Lane obviously has a very good understanding of the demographics of the readership and who exactly it is they are targeting. Of the numerous entries being judged this year, this clarity of purpose stands out and is worthy of commendation in its own right."
Another hit was the EDF group’s flagship multilingual magazine, launched after a seven-way pitch in Paris last year: “Your uncompromising approach for the different language editions is impressive. It is refreshing indeed to see a German edition that is just as inviting and easy to read as its sister editions in other languages!”
Individuals were also singled out for their outstanding contributions, with awards in the 'Best News Report', 'Best Illustration' and 'Best Graphic' categories.
Managing director Jeremy Redhouse said: "Results like these speak for themselves. It’s great to see everyone’s hard work and commitment pay off and win the recognition it deserves."
The CiB awards are Europe’s biggest and most prestigious corporate communications competition – they’ve been recognising winners in this field for over 50 years.
